Dr. Wiliam Pierce to receive the ACS 2007 Jacobson Award

Dr. Wiliam S. Pierce of Hershey Medical Center will receive the prestigious American College of Surgeons Joan L. and Julius H. Jacobson II Promising Investigator Award for 2007. This award has been established to recognize outstanding surgeons engaged in research advancing the art and science of surgery. One award is made annually by the ACS Surgical  Research Committee, and is accompanied by an honorarium.
