Perioperative Blood Management Technologist Examination

The International Board of Blood Management (IBBM) will administer a certification exam for specialization in blood management techniques on August 13, 2008, immediately preceding AmSECT's 16th Annual Symposium on New Advances in Blood Management, Snow King Resort, Jackson Hole Wyoming. The examination is a prerequisite to certification by the IBBM as a Perioperative Blood Management Technologist. This exam is available to individuals who are currently performing techniques of clinical Autotransfusion and cell processing in the perioperative environment.
