Register Now for STSA Annual Meeting

Register now for the upcoming STSA 56th Annual Meeting, to be held November 4-7, 2009 at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort in Marco Island, FL.

The Program Committee has designed a robust program that provides a balance between education, opportunity for thoughtful discussion, and time to renew friendships and experience camaraderie – all of which make the Southern so special. The resort is situated on three miles of pristine southwest Florida beaches and offers a wide range of activities for the whole family to enjoy.

The Southern Thoracic Surgical Association is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians. STSA designates this activity for a maximum of 19.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The advance registration deadline is October 9, 2009
. If you are unable to register by this date you may register on-site, but please note, there will be an additional $50 charge for attendees registering on-site in Marco Island.

STSA 2009 Membership Application Materials are due September 15, 2009.

Thoracic surgeons interested in applying for membership in the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association can view membership requirements and download an application by visiting the STSA Web site.

Membership in the Southern Thoracic Surgical Association is limited to thoracic surgeons practicing or having previously practiced in the southern regions of the United States or who have completed a thoracic residency training program in the STSA region.
