Assessment of Organ Malperfusion and Management in Acute Aortic Syndrome

John Yap of The Heart Hospital, London, United Kingdom, discusses organ malperfusion and the management of acute aortic syndrome. As malperfusion syndrome is associated with high mortality, Mr. Yap stresses the importance of early intervention. Mr. Yap also discusses the importance of having an aortic team, comprised of multidisciplinary aorta specialists, to respond to cases of malperfusion.
