Right Upper Lobe Lobectomy by Thoracoscopy

Thursday, September 4, 2014

The author performed a lobectomy with a video thoracoscope on a 72-year-old male patient with right upper lobe lung squamous cell cancer. There were serious pleural adhesions, many lymph nodes between bronchi, and the interlobular fissures were not complete.

This video is available in the CTSNet China Resource Center for CTSNet users who are unable to view videos due to YouTube restrictions.

Comments

yes now most of the pleural adhesion is not contradiction for vats, and also the large lymph nodes. if the lymph node did not invade, it is easy to dissect with vats.
