Valve-Sparing Root Replacement Techniques

Valve-sparing root replacement can be a technically difficult procedure and requires a fundamental understanding of aortic root anatomy. The operation can be especially challenging for those who are in the early stages of the learning curve. This presentation describes the basic surgical techniques and steps required for successfully performing a valve-sparing root replacement.

Dear sir, 15 % of valve preserving aortic root surgery is complicated by mild to moderate AR. This can be well tolerated in presence of normal left ventricular function. but in the occasion of moderately impaired left ventricular function will end up in cardiomyopathy. please comment Thank you
