Programme/Participant Profile
The course is primarily oriented towards academic surgeons who are pursuing or planning the scientific career in the field of cardio-thoracic surgery. Certain experience in publishing and presenting material is advantageous. The course is a tutorial, consisting of introductory lectures and practical, mentored activities. Leading experts in the field will address the topics, and will be present for practical demonstrations and for work in small groups.

The number of participants is limited to 50 to ensure optimal interrelation with the faculty. Registrations will be allocated by the EACTS Executive Secretariat on a first-come, first-served basis and will not be confirmed until the appropriate course fee has been paid. Scholarships may be available to those whose institutions cannot cover the cost.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Dinner on Wednesday and Thursday evening is not included in the registration fee and participants are therefore advised to make their own arrangements in this regard.
