Airline Information
STSs travel coordinator, FLYING COLORS, has negotiated special discounts for travel to Ft. Lauderdale between January 25 and February 7, 2000.

Or contact us via e-mail at flying_colors@sba.com. FLYING COLORS will proactively research airfares on ALL airline carriers to ensure that we offer the lowest available fares. We are dedicated to offering the best customer service for all attendees. Space may be limited. Fees, restrictions and cancellation penalties will apply.
American Airlines is offering:
A 5% discount below the lowest published airfare. Early Bird Special: A 10% discount below the lowest airfare will apply to tickets purchased no later than 60 days in advance of the travel date. If you cannot meet the restrictions of those discounted airfares, you can still take advantage of a 15% discount off Americans round-trip, full coach fares or the new published Zone fares. A 7-day advance purchase and 2-night minimum stay is required.
Delta Air Lines is offering:
A 5% discount below the lowest published airfare. Early Bird Special: A 10% discount below the lowest airfare will apply to tickets purchased no later than 60 days in advance of the travel date. If you cannot meet the restrictions of those discounted airfares, you can still take advantage of a 10% discount (or 15% Early Bird Special as noted above) off Deltas round-trip, full coach fares or the new published Zone fares. A 7-day advance purchase and 2-night minimum stay is required.
Car Rental
Special discounted rates have been arranged with Avis Rent-a-Car, Inc. Ask your FLYING COLORS representative to reserve an Avis car when you make your airline reservation or call Avis directly at (800) 331-1600 and reference # D000539. Outside the US call (310) 646-5600 and ask for reservations.
Transportation from the Airport
The airport is approximately 3-5 miles from most hotels, a 10-15 minute ride.
Taxi service is located at visible kiosks outside of each terminals baggage claim area. Taxi costs can range from $12.00-$18.00. Housing
Hotel reservations can be made only on the official housing form (enclosed). DO NOT contact hotels directly.
Housing requests must be received by the housing bureau no later than Tuesday, December 22, 1999. No telephone requests will be accepted. Rate or room availability cannot be guaranteed after this date.

A first nights deposit per room is required to guarantee your reservation. Checks or credit cards are acceptable. You will be charged upon receipt of the reservation request. If your reservation is cancelled 7 days in advance, your deposit will be refunded.
Hotel reservations are made on a first-come, first-serve basis. If available, you will be assigned your first choice. Allow a minimum of 20 days for receipt of acknowledgment from the STS Housing Bureau. The acknowledgment will be followed by the actual hotel confirmation. All changes or cancellations must be made directly with the hotel after receipt of confirmation.
Only one room can be reserved per form. If you require additional room reservations, please duplicate the form or attach a supplemental list.
Note: Be sure to list six hotels in order of preference. Do not send cash or money orders when mailing this request. Check-in time is 4:00pm and check-out time is 12 noon.
