The Carpentier-Edwards^® PERIMOUNT Theon^TM mitral replacement system is a systematic approach to mitral valve replacement. Built upon the proven platform of Edwards^TM mitral pericardial valves¹, it provides an innovative alternative to both lifelong anticoagulation* with mechanical valves and the limited durability of porcine valves.

* For patients which do not require warfarin for other risk factors and after the 3-month usual postoperative period.
