Research

Graeme is a statistician with an interest and experience in applied scientific problems. He has worked in a number of interdisciplinary research groups with experts from risk assessment, informatics, medicine, surgery, statistics, clinical audit and environmental science. He is currently a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Biostatistics, University of Liverpool, working on an Medical Research Council funded project: 'joint modelling of multivariate longitudinal and event time outcomes in clinical research'.

 

He has held academic research positions in the field of statistics at the universities of Durham, Manchester and Liverpool. Additionally, he also currently holds the position of Honorary Senior Lecturer in Cardiovascular Science at University College London and Honorary Lecturer in Cardiovascular Sciences at the University of Manchester. He is an Assistant Editor (Statistical Consultant) for the European Journal of Cardio-Thoracic Surgery and Interactive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery journal. In addition, he is a member of the Healthcare Quality Improvement Partnership (HQIP) Methodology Advice Group.
