Open operations were performed after TEVAR for endoleaks, retrograde dissection, chronic expanding dissection, and graft infection in 50 pts. Nearly 20% of the operations were emergencies, nearly 80% required CPB, and nearly 50% required hypothermic arrest. Operative mortality was 6%, and 3 year survival was 67%.
