This article analyzes the amount of lung function loss in 31 patients who underwent bilateral metastasectomy for pulmonary metastases.

You should not have to use stapler for metastasectomy. The lungs lose too much healthy tissue.
What is the time interval between the two surgical procedures for each patient?
