Share your research with an international community of cardiothoracic surgery professionals by submitting abstracts and proposals for upcoming educational courses offered by The Society of Thoracic Surgeons. STS/AATS Tech-Con 2019

Tech-Con proposals should outline short presentations on new cardiothoracic technologies (anticipated to be available in the next 1-3 years) or innovative, off-label, or outside-the-box techniques that address complex problems. 15th Annual Multidisciplinary Cardiovascular and Thoracic Critical Care Conference
October 4-8, 2018
Washington, DC, USA

Abstracts must describe research related to cardiovascular and thoracic critical care. Accepted abstracts will be presented as oral presentations or scientific posters. Corresponding manuscripts may be submitted for publication consideration in The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, but this is not required. Visit sts.org/criticalcare for more information.

STS/EACTS Latin America Cardiovascular Surgery Conference
November 15-17, 2018
Cartagena, Columbia

Abstracts must fall into one of the following categories: adult congenital, aorta and aortic root, aortic valve, atrial fibrillation, coronary, heart failure, mitral valve, quality and outcomes initiatives, or tricuspid valve. Accepted submissions will be presented as oral presentations or scientific posters. Corresponding manuscripts may be submitted for publication consideration in The Annals of Thoracic Surgery, but this is not required. Visit sts.org/latinamerica for more information.

STS 55th Annual Meeting
January 27-29, 2019
San Diego, California, USA

Abstracts may be submitted in the areas of adult cardiac surgery, congenital heart surgery, general thoracic surgery, basic science research, critical care, quality improvement, geriatrics, and cardiothoracic surgery education. All accepted abstracts are published in the official Annual Meeting Abstract Book, and corresponding manuscripts are required to be submitted for publication consideration in The Annals of Thoracic Surgery.
