This thirty-patient series had excellent results: one death, one patient requiring balloon intervention, and the majority with acceptable RV-PA gradients. Age, symptoms, coronary anatomy, and branch pulmonary artery size were irrelevant to outcomes.

This article demonstrates that complete repair of tetralogy can be accomplished even with extremely small pulmonary arteries and facilitates pulmonary artery growth. Several patients had interventional procedures to stenoses or collaterals.

Most patients underwent transannular patching; actuarial survival at 5 years was 74% and freedom from reoperation 76%. All survivors were doing well with longest follow-up at fifteen years.

This series of 128 patients had reasonable follow-up, some approaching 30 years. The majority had developed some degree of pulmonary valve insufficiency and most had excellent functional status.
