This diverse series of patients demonstrates that early repair of TAPVD can be performed without increasing mortality; however, shunting may be required in obstructed TAPVD.

Another series with low mortality (about 5%) and low reoperative rate (about 5%). All varieties of TAPVD were represented and all patients were repaired under circulatory arrest.

This small series shows that isolated cor triatriatum is amenable to surgical correction with good follow-up status. However, associated cardiac anomalies worsen the prognosis.
