Who can become a member of CTSNet?

All cardiothoracic surgeons, including those in training, are invited to become Members of CTSNet. If you belong to a CTSNet Participating Organization, you are already a Member of CTSNet. We also invite any professional in a related field to join CTSNet as an Associate Member. Associate Members typically are anesthesiologists, cardiologists, perfusionists, physician assistants, nurses, data managers, and staff that support cardiothoracic surgery professional organizations or training programs.

What if my professional organization is not yet participating in CTSNet?

Qualified individuals may become Members or Associate Members of CTSNet if their professional organizations are not yet participating in the CTSNet Community. However, we encourage you to tell your professional organization about CTSNet or to join one of the CTSNet Participating Organizations.

How can I become a CTSNet member?

There is no registration fee for Members or Associate Members. Simply fill out the CTSNet Membership Application Form and we will send you your CTSNet ID and password.

Why become a CTSNet Member or Associate Member?

When you become a CTSNet member or associate member you join a global community of individuals with a common interest in the cardiothoracic surgery community. Although most content and features are open to the public, some content and tools on CTSNet are accessible only after logging in with your CTSNet User ID and password. For example, you must first log in before accessing most full-text journal articles, to participate in the CTSNet Discussion Forums, or to participate in clinical and professional development surveys of interest to you. As a CTSNet member or associate member, you will be given a CTSNet member home page through which you can manage your member profile. As a member or associate member, you can also receive the CTSNet Monthly Newsletter that will help you track CTSNet Community events and new content.
