Repair of the Common Type of Bicuspid Aortic Valve with Insufficiency

Repair of the insufficient bicuspid aortic valve is a good option for many patients. Durability is excellent, and late complications are low. Using commissural annuloplasty, fused leaflet cleft closure, and central leaflet plication, 4 patients with varying anatomy were repaired to illustrate operative decision-making.
