Medtronic Edge Update

Medtronic is pleased to announce that the EDGE Advanced Endosurgical Training Course for Cardiac Surgery Teams has now been endorsed by the STS!

We are excited to bring to you a newly developed EDGE course:

  • EDGE Advanced Endosurgical Training for Cardiac Surgery Teams

Advanced Endosurgical Training for Cardiac Surgery Teams Course

The course is designed for both cardiac surgeons and their surgical team members to include perfusionists, scrub techs, PAs and other OR personnel. The surgeons will participate in hands-on training via advanced simulation as well as procedural complication management and advanced endosurgical device study.

The surgery team member will be participating in a simultaneous track on the basics of endosurgery. The two tracks will then be brought together near the end of the course to work as a team on simulation.

*** This course is specifically designed for the cardiac surgeon who has completed the EDGE Basic Guidewire, Catheter and Imaging Skills Course or has significant experience in endosurgical procedures as the primary operator. Significant experience would include > 15 endograft cases or other interventional experience. For more details contact Melanie Anderson at 763-391-9908.
