Terumo Cardiovascular Systems Now Sells Vascutek® Vascular Grafts

TERUMO Terumo Cardiovascular Systems recently became the exclusive distributor and provider of clinical support in the U.S. for vascular grafts manufactured by its sister company, Vascutek Ltd.  Vascutek® vascular grafts are available for thoracic, thoracoabdominal, vascular and peripheral surgical applications and vascular access. This includes the popular Gelweave Valsalva(TM) graft, the world's only anatomically designed aortic root graft.

Terumo Low Prime OxygenatorTerumo offers a full line of hollow fiber oxygenators in the US.  The new CAPIOX® RX15 Oxygenator is designed for use with children, minimized circuits and small adults.  Combined with the CAPIOX Baby RX(TM) Oxygenator for neonates and the RX25 for adults, the RX15 rounds out the CAPIOX RX series which now covers a wide range of needs with a consistent product design to assure high performance.

Terumo's line of RX oxygenators features superb gas exchange, low pressure drop and low prime volume, all optimally balanced for best performance.   Oxygenators feature X Coating(TM), Terumo's biopassive surface coating that reduces platelet adhesion and minimizes platelet activation, and TOTM, an alternative plasticizer that provides outstanding physical properties, such as flexibility, to the material and low plasticizer elution.
