CTSNet iPad App Released

Edward Bender, MD, the CTSNet Apps Editor, has developed an iPad app version of some of the most popular sections of CTSNet. The iPad app presents users with a searchable Events listing and Surgeon’s page (along with Map It locations), CTSNet Career Center, and direct access to the online journals. Take a look!

New Program Profiles in the Residents Section

The Residents Section provides information about national and international cardiothoracic surgery training programs. There are many variables that help define great cardiothoracic programs, and it is the editors' goal to distill the information in a tangible way for members of the CTSNet community.  Five programs have been added and more will be added in the upcoming weeks.

If you were unable to attend the recent past meetings of AATS and EACTS, CTSNet is now proud to be the repository for many of the Post Graduate Courses that were offered. The courses are searchable and fully accessible online.

Two Professional Organizations Join the CTSNet Community

The Romanian Society of Thoracic Surgery and the Azerbaijan Society for Cardiovascular Surgery have agreed to join the CTSNet Community as participating organizations.
