New Survey: Investigating Issues Surrounding Non-General Anesthesia Thoracic Surgery Procedures

Non-general anesthesia thoracic surgery entails a relatively novel surgical approach aimed at minimizing the surgical trauma and avoid potential side-effects of general anesthesia with one-lung ventilation. This can be accomplished by using VATS coupled with regional anesthesia methods such as thoracic epidural or local anesthesia with or without sedation.
