Taking haemodynamic performance further ahead
Bicarbon Slimline aortic valve has been designed for a partially supra-annular positioning, with a supra-annular placement of the whole sewing cuff. The elimination of the sewing cuff material from the annulus allows the use of a larger titanium housing and this results in an improvement of the haemodynamic performances by improving orifice-to-annulus ratio.
