The SJM Regent® Valve valve represents a significant step forward in prosthetic valve design, while maintaining the same design features that have made the St. Jude Medical® mechanical heart valves the standard for reliability and proven performance for more than 25 years.
Minor design modifications made to the outside of the valve orifice have resulted in unprecedented hemodynamic performance.
PRODUCT FEATURES
- Single digit in vivo mean pressure gradients – even in valve sizes as small as 19mm
- Significantly larger effective orifice areas (EOAs)
- Excellent patient-prosthesis match – even in the smallest sizes
- Significant reduction of left ventricular mass
The SJM Regent® Valve valve is available in sizes 19mm-27mm (17mm – 29mm outside the United States) and in two cuff configurations to suit implant preferences.
