Follow Jackie Olive, a medical student at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas, and cardiothoracic surgery resident Jessica Luc of the University of British Columbia in Canada as they attend the 2019 STS Annual Meeting that took place in San Diego, California, this past January.
