EACTS Fellowships: An Interview With Nurse Karin Hinterbuchner

At the 2025 European Association for Cardio-Thoracic Surgery (EACTS) Annual Meeting, CTSNet Senior Editor Cristina Ruiz Segria spoke with Karin Hinterbuchner, a registered nurse at Tirol Kliniken GmbH in Austria, about EACTS fellowships. Hinterbuchner shared how receiving the Francis Fontan Fund impacted her career and discussed her experience working in different centers, including why she chose to visit those specific centers. They also discussed who should apply for these fellowships, and Hinterbuchner talked about her next steps now that she has returned from this experience.
