Why I Became a Heart/Lung Surgeon

Thursday, January 19, 2017

A diverse group of surgeons share their unique and inspiring stories regarding what motivated them to pursue a career in cardiothoracic surgery.

Very compelling answers by these cardiac surgeons. I am not a cardiac surgeon but have collaborated in cardiac valve research with several of these unique individuals over the past 43 years in testing and designing test apparatus and prosthetic devices. I think the artistic aspect of this field is compelling as a watercolourist with a scientific interest. Nice you have made these stories available to the CTS community. Thank you.
