The Duke Center for Surgical Education and Innovation presents the 12th Annual Masters of Minimally Invasive Thoracic Surgery Conference on October 10-12, 2019. The Masters Conference has 3 components: a Robotics Practical Lab on Thursday, and the interactive course on Friday and Saturday, with each day providing four sessions of videos, debates, and discussion. There is a breakout course at lunch each day for surgical assistants, with a focus on operative considerations such as thoracoscopic equipment, instrumentation, room set up and patient positioning as well as minimally invasive assisting techniques. The strength of this conference has always been a dedicated and engaged faculty who are considered international experts in minimally invasive and robotic surgery. Join us for an interactive event where you can discuss the technical aspects of the most challenging procedures, share your most difficult cases, and be part of in-depth discussions with our national and international experts.
