I am a Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon and Assistant Professor in the Department of Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi. My professional journey is driven by a commitment to excellence in cardiac surgery, academic medicine, surgical education, and clinically meaningful research.

My clinical interests encompass complex adult and congenital cardiac surgery, coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valvular heart disease, aortic surgery, minimally invasive and robotic cardiac surgery, heart transplantation, ECMO and mechanical circulatory support, and perioperative critical care.

As an academic surgeon, I strive to integrate surgical practice with teaching, research, and innovation. I am particularly interested in translating clinical observations into research questions that can improve patient outcomes and advance cardiovascular surgical practice. I actively contribute to scientific publications, academic presentations, multidisciplinary collaborations, and surgical education.

I am passionate about mentoring the next generation of surgeons and believe that surgical excellence is built through continuous learning, technical precision, teamwork, ethical practice, and compassion for every patient.

I remain deeply inspired by the pioneers who shaped cardiac surgery in India and by the rich academic and surgical legacy of AIIMS. I hope to contribute to this tradition through patient-centered care, evidence-based practice, meaningful research, and lifelong learning.
