The EACTS Academy Thoracic Surgery Program is for thoracic surgeons - at an intermediate level - in training in a thoracic and/or cardiac department, who wish to gain more insight and up-to-date knowledge on different aspects of thoracic surgery.

Thoracic Surgery: Part II - three weeks to go!
This course will be held September 5-7, 2019 in the new location of Mannheim, Germany, and will feature fantastic international speakers who are experts in their field. Main topics will include:

• Chest wall and mesothelioma
• Surgery for metastasis and mediastinum
• Hands-on sessions on chest wall repair

Thoracic Surgery: Part III
Part III will be hosted on November 28-30, 2019, in Porto, Portugal. This course will focus on extended resections, hands-on sessions on sleeve resections, and much more. Final-year trainees, junior consultants, and anyone preparing for EBCTS or EBTS are encouraged to attend. The program will be available soon.
