Describe Your Tech-Con Proposal
The Society also is seeking proposals for short presentations on innovative and new cardiothoracic surgical technologies or off-label/outside-the-box techniques that address complex problems to be presented during the Shark Tank session at Tech-Con 2020. At this very popular session, presenters will pitch their ideas to a panel of experts in front of a live audience and receive real-time feedback. Shark Tank presentations in 2019 described a stapler that creates rapid and leakproof aortic anastomosis, a 3D printed artificial trachea, and an implantable neurostimulator for pain management after cardiac surgery.
