Unique Program Components
One fellow per year at UCSF offers unique experience in CT surgery in a Geographic area of dense population with diverse cardiac and thoracic pathologies. The program offers a University Center experience with high end surgeries. The breadth of patients include veterans from the SFVA hospital, those from the local county general hospital, and bread & butter patients from the large Kaiser system. Education is reinforced with involvement in advanced lung and heart therapies.
