Minimally invasive right pneumonectomy can be a complicated procedure, but in the absence of hilar involvement by both neoplasm and lymph nodes, it does not show considerable technical difficulties and is feasible for all surgeons with minimally invasive experience.

Uptake more than tripled during the study period, with a current mean of more than 50% among institutions. However, uptake ranged from 0 to 82% and was associated with increasing center volume.
