OTHER INTERESTS
I am interested in the biology and mathematical modelling of cancer outcomes. A previous background in the mathematical modelling of pancreatic cancer and disease spcefic mortality, will help me in undertanding cancer outcomes with esophageal and lung cancer. I have an interest in cardiovascular physiology and in pursuing a CT surgery residency at Emory University, I will explore my interests in cardiovascular mechanics, biology, and oncology.I am an avid sailor and look forward to saling large rigs in open ocean waters. My and my wife enjoy hikes, camping, outdoors activities, and I dabble in some guitar and golf. Together with the newest member of our family, our son, I am on an exciting journey of discovery and learning in all things thoracic.
