The First Versius Robotic Segmentectomy - Argenteuil, Paris

Wednesday, July 21, 2021

Dunning, Joel; Bagan, Patrick; Bassel, Dakhil; Zaimi, Rym (2021): The First Versius Robotic Segmentectomy - Argenteuil, Paris. CTSNet, Inc. Media. https://doi.org/10.25373/ctsnet.14991570

This is a video of the first Versius Robotic Segmentectomy. It is a segmentectomy of the apical segment of the right upper lobe by the team in Argenteuil, Paris. It was performed using the Endoscopic base unit, two other instrument units (a 3mm handheld grasper as the third instrument), and an assistant port.

They did a great job and this is likely to be the first of many robotic resections from the great team in Argenteuil.

Let me know what you think about this new robotic system now available to the thoracic surgical community.
