At the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiothoracic Surgery Annual Scientific Meeting 2025, Dr. Sudhir Srivastava, Founder, Chairman, and CEO of SS Innovations Group Companies, delivered a presentation titled “My Journey From Heart Surgeon to Maker of Robots.”
In his presentation, he shared insights into his early career days, including his residency and experience coming to the US, along with details about his defamation lawsuit against Harte-Hanks. He recounted performing the first minimally invasive quintuple bypass surgery and his efforts to advance minimally invasive surgery across various hospitals where he has worked. Additionally, Dr. Srivastava discussed his transition from being a surgeon to creating robotic technologies and the challenges he faced. He also explored the evolution of robotic technology and provided insights into the future of robotics in surgery.
