Mechanical Circulatory Support Workshop

EACTS presents the Mechanical Circulatory Support Workshop, with the scientific collaboration of Acute CardioVascular Care (ACVC) and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI), of the ESC.

This Workshop welcomes everyone involved in heart failure care. Surgeons, intensivists, anaesthesiologists, perfusionists, acute care specialists, interventional cardiologists and heart failure nurses, who participate in the management of critically ill patients. This course provides with didactic teaching, hands on wet- and dry-lab operative experience and practical demonstrations in the surgical techniques and skills needed for the successful use of short-term and durable mechanical circulatory support systems. This is an intensive two-day course of lectures, debate and practical hands-on surgical practice.
