Join us for a dynamic in-person conversation examining what it truly takes to deliver high-quality healthcare in areas affected by conflict and its aftermath.
Hosted by award-winning journalist Hollie McKay, this discussion will feature Rossella Miccio, President of EMERGENCY, alongside two frontline medical professionals—a trauma surgeon and a nurse—who have worked in EMERGENCY hospitals across conflict and post-conflict settings.
Together, they will share firsthand perspectives on leadership, surgical excellence, nursing care, and the long-term commitment required to sustain world-class healthcare in some of the world’s most challenging environments. Speakers have experience in countries including Afghanistan, Eritrea, Iraq, Palestine, Sudan, Sierra Leone, Ukraine, and Uganda.
Doors open at 6:00 pm, and the panel discussion starts at 6:30 pm.
