Resident - Cardiothoracic Surgery
Johns Hopkins Hospital

I am a Miami native who speaks English and Spanish.
I completed medical school at SUNY Upstate Medical University in 2013, and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society (AOA).
I went back home to Miami and became a general surgery resident at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami.
Partaking in the 7 year surgical residency training program I became a Research Associate at the University of Miami’s Interdisciplinary Stem Cell Institute under the direction of Dr. Joshua Hare. After graduating in 2020, I went to Baltimore and am completing a three year cardiothoracic fellowship at the Johns Hopkins Hospital. My professional interest is in adult cardiothoracic surgery. I would like to hone my skills in minimally invasive cardiac surgical techniques and I have been trained on the Da Vinci Robot.
