Giacomo Bianchi

My current interest is minimally invasive cardiac surgery, focusing on the endoscopic approach. I have an appointment at my insitution for developing the minimally invasive endoscopic program and foster the adoption of mechanical circulatory support for cardiac failure.
I have strong scientific background in molecular biology and traslational approach (PhD in Translational Medicine at Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna – Pisa – Italy) with a dissertation on gene therapy for ascending thoracic aortic aneurysm.
