Madeleine Johansson, Dr.

Dr. Madeleine Johansson, M.D., Ph.D., works as a resident in cardiology at the Department of Cardiology, Skåne University Hospital in Malmö, Sweden, and postdoctoral fellow at Lund University, Sweden. Dr. Johansson has a special interest in coronary artery disease, cardiovascular autonomic dysfunction, cardio-oncology, as well as cardio-thoracic surgery.

She is a top international peer-reviewer and has been awarded a ‘Top Reviewer Award 2023’ by the European Heart Journal and an ‘Elite Top 10 Reviewer Award 2023’ by the Journal of American College of Cardiology (JACC). She is a Board Member of the European Society of Cardiology (ESC) Council of Cardio-Oncology 2024-2026 and has served as a Faculty Member of the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) Congress 2024. In 2021 she was awarded second place during the Young Investigator Awards – Clinical session at the European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA) Congress.
