Miguel Bravo, M.D.

Miguel Bravo, MD, is a general surgeon based in Waterbury, CT. He completed his medical degree at Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in 2015 and his general surgery residency at St Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury in 2020. Dr. Bravo holds both a Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Pre-medical Studies and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Literature from The University of Texas at San Antonio. He currently serves as a resident physician in general surgery at Saint Mary’s Hospital and conducts research as a clinical scientist at CHI St Luke’s Health – Baylor St Luke’s Medical Center. His previous research roles include positions at The Mount Sinai Hospital and the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Bravo has contributed to various publications in the fields of public health, cardiology, and thoracic surgery. He has also been involved in several clinical trials related to coronary artery surgery and vascular grafts.
