I am an anesthesiologist, perfusion and intensive care specialist at Botkin Hospital in Moscow, Russia. My clinical work is focused on adult cardiac anesthesia, cardiopulmonary bypass, extracorporeal circulation, perioperative intensive care, VA-ECMO, intraoperative echocardiography, and the management of high-risk cardiac surgery patients.
I am particularly interested in complex coronary and valve surgery, heart transplantation, myocardial protection, mechanical circulatory support, extracorporeal blood purification, and perioperative decision-making within a multidisciplinary cardiac surgery team.
OTHER INTERESTS
RESEARCH
My research interests include extracorporeal technologies in cardiac surgery, with a particular focus on intraoperative hemoadsorption for the elimination of P2Y12 receptor inhibitors in patients requiring urgent coronary artery bypass grafting. I am also interested in perioperative bleeding management, antiplatelet therapy reversal strategies, and extracorporeal blood purification during cardiopulmonary bypass.
My additional research areas include myocardial protection, warm blood cardioplegia, modified microplegia techniques, perioperative levosimendan use in post-cardiotomy cardiogenic shock, VA-ECMO, and the role of the anesthesiologist-perfusion specialist in heart transplantation and complex cardiac surgical care.
