An early career physician/researcher trained in Pakistan, I’m aspiring to have a career as a cardiothoracic surgeon scientist. My work focuses on cardiothoracic surgery outcomes and mechanical circulatory support, especially LVADs, aiming to improve patient selection, perioperative management, and device performance. I’ve contributed to seven manuscripts spanning TriNetX real-world analyses, multicenter cohort studies (including an institutional lead role), and meta-analyses; recent projects include comparative outcomes of Impella support in STEMI-shock and precision risk-stratification in aortic disease. I am building strong data analysis skills with R programming, and my goal is to integrate AI models to drive better outcomes in cardiothoracic public health and in the design and optimization of mechanical support devices.
