Adrian Ciuche, MD, PhD: Currently, he is Consultant Thoracic Surgery ”Carol Davila” Central Military Emergency University Hospital, Bucharest, Romania. He is specialized in Thoracoscopic surgery, Chest Traumatology and Bronchoscopy. He was involved as participation in surgical techniques for the first time in Romania: pleuropericardial window made by thoracoscopic minimal invasive surgery (1999); anterior approach in Pancoast Tobias (2001); Broncho-anastomosis resection of the intermediaries bronchi (2002); Resection and reconstruction of tracheal carina (2004); Anterior approach by upper sternotomy for C7-T1 spine fractures (2010); Sternal reconstruction using Kriptonite bone cement (2010); Stabilization of post traumatic flail chest and fractured sternum using Nuss procedure for pectus excavatum (2017),.  He has participated in more than 90 scientific events and national and international training courses. More than 90 articles and scientific papers published or communicated in the country and abroad, 8 chapters in specialized books in national Publishing Houses, as author or co-author.

Presently, he is member of ESTS (European Society of Thoracic Surgeons) and of Romanian Society of Thoracic Surgery
