Through my passion for humanitarian work, I have founded and am Trustee for 'Heal the Heart' a charity dedicated to providing free cardiac surgery to those that can neither access nor afford necessary cardiac surgery.
I really care about patient experience and quality of patient care. In my practice, I endeavour to make every patient have tailored treatment where they feel reassured and cared for through their surgical experience. I do everything I can for patient safety and minimise complications. I have benchmarked my surgical outcome data against latest national and international data sets and my outcomes of mortality, and median length of stay are within accepted parameters. I remain committed to Clinical Research with more than 40 publications in scientific peer reviewed journals and over 700 citations.
