I provide executive leadership and direction for multi-site healthcare organizations, drawing from extensive success in business development, strategy, leadership, organizational development, and innovation. I successfully perform in complex environments with product and loss (P&L), profitability, growth, and revenue.
I have an extensive background in healthcare leadership, strategic planning, and business development, combined with my innovation, project management, and process improvement qualifications. As a former military officer, I possess a strong sense of discipline, teamwork, and dedication to achieving results. I have leveraged these qualities to coach and develop high achievers, foster entrepreneurial spirit, and drive positive change in complex healthcare environments.
I provide systems thinking, process consulting, organizational development, change management, legal nurse consulting, and executive coaching expertise to develop people and businesses to empower them to excel, consistently exceed the standards and goals, and succeed in any mission! Together, We will Excel, We will Exceed, We will Succeed!
My recent management consultant and executive coach role at The University of Pennsylvania Health System /Value Capture LLC allowed me to provide process improvement advising and executive coaching to enhance operational efficiency and staff satisfaction. I redesigned sterilization processes and OR supply chain inventory management, significantly improving staff satisfaction and instrument availability.
As the Chief Operating Officer and Practice Administrator at Atlantic Gastroenterology Associates, Digestive Health Services, I led the daily operations of a multi-million-dollar medical group. I managed the merger and acquisition process with a billion-dollar private equity firm and health system. I also saved substantial costs by redesigning supply chain processes and strategic reviews of various business functions.
My career has also encompassed roles such as Director of Regional Clinical Operations at Surgical Care Affiliates, Administrator at Atlanticare Surgery Center, and Assistant Vice President of Surgery at Virtua Medical Group, where I consistently delivered outstanding results in gastroenterology services and implemented innovative solutions to improve patient care and operational efficiency in the gastroenterology surgery centers and medical group.
As Assistant Vice President of Surgical Operations, overseeing three colorectal practices, two bariatric/general surgery practices, and two breast surgery practices has given me a wealth of experience in oncological cancer services. I also oversaw the breast reconstruction practice. I redesigned a hospital-based gastroenterology department at Kennedy/Jefferson Health System and as the operating room manager.
I have demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities, honed during my service as a U.S. Army Nurse Corps Officer, and further developed as a healthcare executive.
My educational background, including an MBA in Innovation and Entrepreneurship and ongoing pursuit of a Doctoral degree in Strategic Leadership, reflects my commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
