Background
I am working as an associate professor of cardiovascular surgery at Erciyes University Medical Faculty, Yılmaz Mehmet Öztaşkın Heart Hospital. I started my assistantship training in 2009 and received the title of specialist doctor in 2015. Surgical treatment of heart valve diseases is among my primary interests. I participated in the training program of the Turkish Cardiovascular Surgery Association of our country for mitral valve repair training. I also worked as an observer faculty member in the Department of Cardiovascular Surgery at Bezmialem University.
