I am interested in the biology and mathematical modelling of cancer outcomes. A previous background in the mathematical modelling of pancreatic cancer and disease spcefic mortality, will help me in undertanding cancer outcomes with esophageal and lung cancer. I have an interest in cardiovascular physiology and in pursuing a CT surgery residency at Emory University, I will explore my interests in cardiovascular mechanics, biology, and oncology.
I am an avid sailor and look forward to saling large rigs in open ocean waters. My and my wife enjoy hikes, camping, outdoors activities, and I dabble in some guitar and golf. Together with the newest member of our family, our son, I am on an exciting journey of discovery and learning in all things thoracic.
