Altmetric Tracking Now Available on CTSNet Videos and Articles [1]
CTSNet is excited to announce that Altmetric [2] data “badges” are now being appended to new educational videos and articles published on CTSNet.org. Altmetric tracks the online impact [3] of CTSNet videos and articles, including related social media activity, blog mentions, and other references on a broad variety of web platforms. Authors and users can now view some of the reach of CTSNet’s rich and growing collection of educational materials.
Additional enhancements:
- CTSNet authors and users can now easily cite CTSNet publications by using the “Copy Citation” button available on new videos and articles.
- New CTSNet videos and articles are also being published on Figshare, an online data repository. Videos featured within the CTSNet Figshare Portal [5] should be viewable in countries where YouTube (CTSNet’s main video-hosting service) is restricted.
- New original videos and articles published on CTSNet will be assigned a Digital Object Identifier (DOI), giving them permanent accessibility on the web.
