As a part of the 2023 joint international conference of the African Academy for Pediatric and Congenital Heart Surgery and the African Association of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgeons, Professor William Novick presented on his methods for developing pediatric cardiac services in low- and middle-income countries. He also discussed what he has learned about identifying the success and failure of these services.
